Welcome to 2027 Open Enrollment! Navajo County is excited to offer a comprehensive and valuable benefits package to you and your family.
Please Note: This Open Enrollment will be ACTIVE; It is required that you log into Employee Navigator and confirm your 2027 elections.
This guide provides details of each available benefit. Please thoroughly review your options so you can make the most informed decision. Open Enrollment is the only opportunity which you will have to make your benefit selections. You are not able to make any changes once open enrollment closes, unless you experience a Qualifying Life Event. All elections and changes made during Open Enrollment will become effective January 1, 2027.
New for 2027

Although every effort is made to keep employee contributions steady, there will be an increase to medical, dental, and voluntary life/AD&D premiums. All per pay period costs are available within your Employee Navigator portal.

Effective 1/1/27 any spouse that has access to health insurance through their own employer will be excluded from the Navajo County Plan. Applicable employees will attest within Employee Navigator if their spouse does or does not have access to other coverage. If no, your spouse is eligible to enroll. If yes, your spouse is ineligible to enroll.

As part of an initiative to ensure compliance and accountable administration of healthcare benefits, Navajo County is utilizing iVerifyPro to verify the eligibility of enrolled dependents. To continue coverage for your dependent(s), your participation in this verification is REQUIRED. Please reach out to the HR team with any questions

Effective 1/1/27 AFLAC will be offering a Cancer policy. Coverage rates are available within you Employee Navigator portal. Our AFLAC representative will be on site during this open enrollment.

NAVAJO COUNTY INFORMATION
Navajo County was founded in 1895 and incorporates 9,960 square miles. Navajo County contains many diverse communities such as Holbrook, Show Low, Kayenta, Heber/Overgaard, Joseph City, Snowflake, Taylor and Pinetop-Lakeside to name a few. Navajo County also has a variety of exciting natural wonders from the Petrified Forest National Park to the Painted Desert. We are also part of the Historic Route 66. And who can forget about “standing on a corner” in Winslow, Arizona. We hope you enjoy not just working with Navajo County, but all that this region has to offer.
